  The Mystery Of The Faith

               "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith."                    {1 John 5:4}
            Are you born of God?  Do you believe the God that you serve ,  the everlasting Father, the mighty God.  "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM:"  {Exodus 3:14}  A time comes when we have to examine ourselves.  I mean examine our faith.  Where are we with our faith?  The word of God says, "But without faith it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to god must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." {Heb. 11:6}  You see, nothing can be achieved without faith and nothing is impossible.  Remember the ark?  Our ark is in God.  It is by faith.  In the book of Hebrews chapter 11 many mighty things were accomplished by faith.  I believe we forget at times the power it holds.  Our heroes of the bible: by faith Enoch, by faith Noah, by faith Abraham,by faith Moses, just to name a few. These individuals did phenomenal things by faith in God.  {1 Tim 3:9} says: "Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience."
           The Apostle Paul is speaking to Timothy concerning, holding the mystery of the faith in a pure (good) conscience.  So, Paul is revealing something about our faith in God.  There is a deeper understanding that we need to know about faith.  It takes us beyond our capabilities.  It can take us from the natural to the supernatural.  How does the supernatural work through faith?  The example is told in Romans 12 :6:" Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith."  The gifts that God gives us all work in the supernatural.  Its a God given gift.  They work according to the proportion of faith that we have.  Its holding the mystery of the faith in a good conscience.  A good conscience is having no doubt in believing.  The spiritual realm works through our faith in believing.                Thats where the spiritual (heavenly) and the natural (earthly) come together by faith.  Prophesy, visions , healings, discerning of spirits, interpretation of dreams, these gifts and more are spiritual sent from God.  Moses parted the Red sea  saving Israel from Pharaoh's army, a supernatural act of God working through Moses by faith.  Again by faith Noah moved with fear prepared an ark to the saving of his house.  He became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.  So, we can say that faith links with other characteristics of God.  It takes us to a spiritual level of the heavenlies opening up windows of opportunities to be used by God .   I Believe these heros of the bible also had other characteristics of God.  Proverbs 22: 4 says;" By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour and life."  So can you now see when Paul speaks to Timothy  concerning, holding the mystery  of the faith in a pure conscience.                 The mystery of the faith in a pure (good) conscience , takes us to a plateau of where accomplishments are achieved.  So, then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.  {Rom 10:17}              Lets consider that powerful scripture combining  faith, hearing , and the word of God. Remember,"Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him ."{Prov. 30:5}  I believe God was a shield unto Moses, God was shield unto Noah and other heros of the faith.  Why?  Because faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God and every word of God is pure.  It's holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. So, nothing can be achieved without faith.   All things are possible with it.  I leave  you with this word of God.                                                                  "Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water."                                                                         Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering: (for he is faithful that promised:)                                           And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:  Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.  {Hebrews 10:22-25}                       When uncertainty stands before us, faith is the victor in God.               But remember to consider one another in encouragement, towards love and good works as we see the day of the Lord approaching.  This is an essential part of our faith.                                                                                                                                  This is a Voice Ministries  message. All scripture from the King James Bible.
