   "Redeeming the Time"
We know that a thousand years is but a day unto the Lord. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven." There is a time for everything. God speaks to us about redeeming the time. Well, redeeming the time is about opportunity. Opportunity comes on God's time table. "Redeeming the time because the days are evil” (Eph 5:16).
Well, we don't know how each day will unfold. God tells us to avoid foolish talking and let no man deceive us with vain words. We get involved with people. They say things that God would not approve of. Situations could arise.
When opportunity comes, we could miss that time that God wants us to walk into. God making the impossible, possible, could pass by you.
Philippians 3:2-3 says, "Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh”.
So, we are God’s people who worship him in spirit, our flesh nature is of no avail to us.
Our faith and confidence in God is what we need to obtain. We need to redeem the time to see and walk into our opportunity. We do not know when it may come again. The days are evil. There is a time for everything.
The apostle Paul gives us this important statement. In Ephesians 5:17 it says, "Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is."
Understanding what the will of the Lord is for you is God’s instruction for you at this present time.    God is opening the door for the opportunity to exist. This is his will for you.

This is the position he wants you to be in for now. When you’re in God's will, favor and opportunities will come. They are his plans for you. Remember you have the free will to choose to continue in following Christ.
Stepping out of his will would be unfavorable. It takes the Holy Spirit to give you understanding in following God. So, you would be a wise person in understanding what the will of the Lord is. It takes discipline, devotion and faith in following God. You need to find your quiet time with him. Find your secret place with him. "But in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." (Phil 4:6)
Redeeming the time, the time for God given opportunities to be taken. But, understanding what the will of the Lord is through these opportunities. Finally, the apostle Paul gives us these exhortations to follow: In 1 Thess. 5:17-23 it says:
"Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the spirit. Despise not prophesying. Prove all things; hold fast for which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly: and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."

"May the Lord Bless you and keep you."
