"Impossibilities"
Have you ever had a passion or a desire for something to happen in your life? You are praying to God. Speaking to God about this desire and passion. But, it just seems that it’s not going to come into existence. You have this fire inside of you of not giving up. Yet, sometimes you feel like you should. The thing that you want to happen seems to be far from your reach. You are looking for possibilities to appear. But the struggle goes on. Then, God gives you this, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God” (Luke 18:27). Very encouraging words from the Lord but we know what he can do. The Lord reigns in everything.
Luke 19:25 says, “For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
Wow! The words that Jesus said. We know about the rich man trusting in his wealth, it is tangible. But what about the camel? “For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye.” Jesus uses creation, a camel, for an example. We know that a camel can travel in extreme heat for long distances, as in a desert.
Also, its attitude doesn’t seem to care about its surroundings. The camel just goes on its way. The needle’s eye, well it’s small, it’s impossible for a camel to go through it. Simply, Jesus is saying, don’t focus on your surroundings or their appearance. Trust in God, your faith in him. Just go on your way in Christ Jesus. Amen? You see, our surroundings should not affect our faith in God.
Hebrews 11:9 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews chapter eleven is on faith, what it is: its power, and its heroes, God makes the impossible possible. God already has things in motion, circumstances are happening on his behalf. But you don’t see it. You need to keep your faith. Believe that he is God. Continue to seek him diligently. The invisible will be visible. His angels are in the working of the spoken words of God. But there is something continually that we need to do. God works through you for his glory.
Eph. 3:9-12 says, “And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery. Which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Christ Jesus.” “To the intent that now unto principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.”
“According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord; In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.”
Did you hear that! Our boldness and access with confidence comes from our faith in God. Our boldness and access with confidence to what? Well, it’s to make all men see what is the fellowship of his mystery. It’s to have a dwelling place in Christ Jesus. The fellowship of his mystery. The mystery of God’s creative work in you for the surroundings that you’re in. God will make the impossible possible. The manifold wisdom of God. The principalities and powers in heavenly places are at work for God.
You see, that’s why Paul says, “Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you which is your glory.” (Eph. 3:13)
God is working through Paul for all to see. Also, to strengthening the church by the demonstration of the wisdom of God.
“And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with the fullness of God.” (Eph. 3:19)
God makes the impossible possible. His wisdom is beyond our understanding, beyond our way of comprehending things. The God of the miraculous. The God of miracles. It’s to know the love of Christ which passes beyond our knowledge. Praise the Lord! May the Lord bless you and keep you.
