   "His Holy Habitation"

              I like to start this message by reading this scripture.        [Prov. 30:5 ] says, "Every word of God is pure; he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him."
             We need to find and get to that spiritual place where every word of God is pure.  The teaching of the holy spirit directing you into hearing God the way you can hear him.  The way when God speaks to you its his words that permiates in your being.  Thats the place where we believe and trust in God.  Therefore our trusting brings forth the sheild of God in lives.  The sheild of God is his power of direction in our lives.  Spiritualy, trust interacts with obedience, not deviating from his word.  It brings forth blessings and protection from above.  It's when, 'He must increase, but I must decrease' [Jn. 3;30].
            Again, How did Noah and his family escape the flood?  Noah did it by faith, trusting in hearing God and obedience by building of the ark.  Therefore Noah and his family was saved from that devasting event.
             I would like to dig deep a little farther, ("Spirit searcheth..... the deep things of God" ) [1 cor 2:10].
             Let's go to Psalm 91, "The blessed state of the righteous." I believe this reading in the bible is one of the most divine readings of spiritual insight.  Its emphasisis stated in Psalm 91:1 it says; "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty.
             God needs to be our dwelling place.  Because without him we will be openly acessible to the occurrences that will be happening around us.  Ps. 31:20 says; "Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues."  I am sure you can understand the trouble that can occur from th pride of man and the strife of tongues.  So our protection is dwelling in that secret place of the most High.  That secret place is your most intimate, spiritual, sin forgiving time with God.  Only then, when we are in this secret place, we will hear the spirit of God 's direction.  But there is also something else we need to do.  That is to , "abide under the shadow of the Almighty."  That word, "abide" means to maintain.  We need to maintain our secret place, we need to  maintain our hearing and guidance of the lord.  Thats important.  So, we need to abide in the place with God and the result is in his deliverance.
              Psalm 91:5 -7 goes on to say," Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
              Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
              A  thousand shall fall at thy side , and ten thousand at thy right hand: but it shall not come nigh thee."
             Why will not all these occurrences come upon us?  Lets read on, Psalm 91:9-11 says; "Because thou hast made the Lord which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation:

             There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

           Far he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways ."  Wow!  How powerful is that.  Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy.  Again why will this happen.  "Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation."  Gods dwelling place is our habitation.  Its our way of living.  He is our sanctuary.  The word . "habitation" is mentioned often in the scriptures of the holy bible.  Infact, more than I thought when doing some research.  Then the Lord gave me this beautiful scripture concerning his habitation.                                                  Psalm 68:5 says; "A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation ."  Put yourselve in someones place of not having a father.  The many questions that have no answers.  The emotions of not having someone when your in need.  Then God is there, to fill you.  The widow who has many questions and emotions not able to control.  Then God is there.  Can you now see and understand about God and who he is, in his holy habitation.                                                                                                       Thats where we need to be.  Thats God pouring out his love and thats the teaching of the holy spirit through those two examples.  May we learn, to know so much more.  Jesus Christ himself is our chief corner stone.  Collectively as a body the word of God says, "In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the spirit Eph. 2:22.  On an individual basis Psalm 71:3 states, "Be thou my strong habitation, where unto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress."
                                        "May the Lord Bless you and keep you."
