"The Kingdom Of Heaven With You"
Let me start by saying this, have you been having many trials lately? I mean, have they been more than usual. Has the testing of your faith increased? What ever your circumstances may be, I am sure God is in the picture. He is the one who is in control. Having a resolvement in circumstances is an issue we would all like to come to an end. I believe some of these circumstances can be resolved by common sense, others we will need to approach God with them. In Proverbs 4:7, King Soloman recites this instruction he received from his father. " Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. It's the power of God's wisdom that we need to seek and achieve. Its going to take the supernatural power of God's wisdom to get us through these trying times. The increase of our faith and the decrease of us. We are to carry the kingdom of heaven with us . "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy therefore goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field." (Matt. 13:44). You see, the wisdom of God is the principal thing. It is a treasure hid in a field. It is a great treasure to have. That is like what the kingdom of heaven is about. Carry it with you. Wisdom is the principal thing, get understanding. Understanding is certainly a virtue that God would like for us to attain. Because it is through virtue that we will be approaching God. Amen? Virtue is an important characteristic of God. We know that Jesus was full of virtues. There are many virtues that we will need to attain within us. When we study God's word we will know them. Let me share with you a few of them, understanding (in which we were talking about), gentleness, love and selfcontrol. Each of these characteristics hold, as the apostle Paul would say, the mystery of godliness. Certainly Jesus as we know had these traits which came from his father from above. Just as the women who touch the hem of his garment and was healed. Luke 8 :46-47 says, "And Jesus said, somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me." "And when the women saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately." The kingdom of heaven is of virtues. It is characterized by humility and gentleness and other virtues. It is going beyond our natural senses and letting the power of God work through us. But, to study and show thy self approved unto God, 2 Tim. 2:15. God is looking for a people who will be of the faith. Lets face it. The times that we are living in , its going to take a people of faith in God. Its seeking his counsel in wisdom and in truth. Trusting in God for his direction. People are looking for answers just as in the times of Jesus. Let God use us as vessels of mercy. Lets carry the kingdom of heaven with us. "Again , the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking godly pearls: Who, when he had found "one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had, and bought it, Matt. 13:45-46"
