The Invisible

In the book of John there is this scripture; John 1:3 says,

"All things were made by him; and without him was not anything   made that was made."  The understanding of this scripture is that the word, "him" is refered to God. Without God was not anything made that was made. You could simply say, God created everything and without God nothing is created. Lets us consider the realm of  space and time. We have the visible and invisible. We know they exist or coexist with one another. Space and time is God's infinite wisdom of creation. The earth that we live in , all things in it and outside of it are created by God. It's in his word. We cannot see        everything, but yet we believe.
Romans 1:20 says, "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse." The invisible things of God, his eternal power and Godhead invisible yet made visible by his creations coming into existence. Now we see and understand. Scripture speaks about the invisible God being made visible by his creation and by our believing faith.                                                                              1 Peter 1:8 speaks of just that; "Whom though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:"        The invisible power of faith is where we live and have our being in God . We know that faith is working in the ivisible realm. I don"t want to sound to mystical, but its the truth. This is where God wants us to be. Hebrews 10:38 says;" Now the just shall live by faith:" Scripture states that Noah was a just man, Gen 6:9. He lived by faith. "By faith Noah being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear , and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith (Heb. 11:7) You see Noah believed in the things that God told him even though he could not see them physically. Noah believed so much that he moved with fear. He became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. That's operating in the invisible, not seeing physically, but seeing in the spiritual realm. We need to be walking in that invisible realm of faith and God. I agree attaining to this is not easy. But it is of the renewing of the mind, that will keep us in our walk with God.                                                           In Hebrews 11:1 it says; "Now faith is the substance of thing hoped for, the evidence of things not  seen."  In this scripture we can see that there is a two fold application concerning faith.  Faith is the substance of things hoped for. Let me stop here for a moment. Faith begins with a thought, a thought of something to exist. It is the substance of things hoped for. The other part of this scripture goes on to say, "the evidence of things not seen."  Here we are working in the invisible realm. The invisible is the things not seen. This is faith. Romans 8:24 speaks about, things not seen. It says; "For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?" So here we have a more understanding about things not seen (faith). Faith is things not seen. The invisible. Romans 8:25 goes on to say; "But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it." Did not Noah have faith in God. God told Noah of things not seen. But he did wait for it with patience, by the building of the ark. Noah believed. He believed with patience of the things not seen, until it came into existance. The rain began to fall. God said to Noah that he had seen righteous before him. (Gen 7:1). Noah and the other people of God were indeed the great examples of faith for our behalf. They all believed. They all had faith. God seen righteousness because of their faith in him. Romans 3:22 speaks of this for us today. "Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that beleive: for there is no difference:"                                                                                                    Faith can take us through all kinds of situations. Faith brings the invisible into visibility. Thats why Hebrews 11:6 says; "But without faith it is impossible to please him." The invisible realm is that believing faith. The substance of things hoped for . The evidence of things not seen. In Hebrews 11:27 this scripture speaks about the faith of Moses.  "By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible." The faith of Moses took him to a place in God where he did not fear the wrath of the king. His faith kept him to endure, as seeing the invisible God work before him. We  know that spiritual battles are fought in the invisible realm. It takes faith to believe to operate in that spiritual realm. Srcipture says: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of the world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Eph. 6:12)                                                              We don't come against the physical itself we come against the spiritual that operates the physical realm.  The spiritual is the unseen realm. We know it exists because we have faith. We believe in it.  Also, God's word says it is so. The power of faith working in the invisible is beyond our comprehension that we need the holy spirit's direction. It's the unseen power of faith. " Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of  lions."  (Heb.11:33)                                 Remember  this scripture ?  " The  weapons of our warfare are not carnal , but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds, " (2 Cor. 10:4)  You see, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, they are spiritual, faith operational, the invisible. It goes on to say , " but mighty through God  to the pulling down of strong holds."  Its faith through the invisible God working the invisible realm. But spiritually we see him because we believe. The strongs holds are spiritual wickedness. They need to be broken. There again its faith the unseen operating.  What I hoped to share with you about faith and God, is that it will ignite your spirit in seeking him. This small insight that God shared with me I am sharing with you. I hope that you were blessed. Keep the faith of invisibility, visible in your spirit.                                                                                                                                       " Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever  and ever . Amen. ( 1 Tim. 1:17 )                                                                                                                                                    This is a Voice Ministries Message.  June 2010
