  "Beyond Reason"

The sermon on the mount, Jesus preached about many things. His concepts where beyond our natural thinking. That is the place where he wants us to be, to advance his kingdom. I would like to bring to your attention Mat.5:44-45. It says," But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust."

This scripture that Jesus was saying goes contrary to our way of reasoning. Fair is fair and just is just. Well, why should we do of such a thing and consider a matter to be handled in this way. Our flesh man would not even consider it. But we are called to be servants of the most high God. We are to be obedient and serve the Lord with humility. Qualities concerning his kingdom. We may question Jesus's words, but reasoning it out and not obeying is stepping out of his authority. He is our Father with all the authority we could ever imagine. The ruler of the universe. The creator of all creation. I believe trusting in God's salvation and obeying in His authority are the two most important matters we could ever understand. We are to trust and obey God. In serving God, we are called to fulfill His purpose. In fulfilling His purpose, we are under God's authority. Being under God's authority is to know God's will (His purpose) and to obey it. His will represents authority.           Certainly before we can work (serve) for God we need to be overturned by His authority. Have we ever regulated whether or not we have met authority? Our experiences will determine this matter. If we are to serve God we must have the basic principle of understanding authority. When we are serving God, we are to be sent to work by him. That's under God's authority and our purpose is there. But finding our own work to do is not of God's direction. It is the works of the flesh. The thought of reasoning out from under God's authority. Therefore it is lawlessness. Lawlessness is disobeying God's authority and it is sin. Lawlessness is a matter of the heart attitude. The world is full of lawlessness and soon the son of  lawlessness will appear. Part of the last days or the coming of the Lord, is that the sin  of  lawlessness will increasingly grow. The manifestation against God's authority. The falling away from God.           So then the man of sin will be revealed. The matter of the heart attitude, that is lawlessness. Reasoning will bring us into lawlessness. Reasoning away God from what he has put in our heart by obeying him. Thats the son of perdition. We are exalting ourselves (the fall ) when we are not under God's authority.                     2 Thes. 2:3 says, "Let no man decieve you by any means; for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition."                                    The son of perdition is the devil, who opposed God and exalted himself  that he be as God. That's lawlessness. It's disobeying God's authority. It is the mystery of iniquity already at working. " For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way 2 Thes 2:7."  If iniquity is working in you by reasoning against God's authority, who are you imitating. Just like the mystery of Godliness unto God, there is the mystery of iniquity unto the son of perdition. The revelation is that reasoning takes us out of God's authority. We can see this example with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. "And the Lord God commanded the man saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die Gen 2:16-17." Now in Gen 3:1 it says,"Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said,Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"  We know that the serpent was very subtil. Because he was more subtil than any beast in the field that God had made. Here we can see how the serpent is good at what he does. Because he put a thought of the question which makes you reason. "Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree in the garden?" [Gen 3:1] Then Eve answers the question knowing what God had told her. ".....We may eat of the fruit of the tree of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the  garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it; lest we die Gen 3:2. We know about the serpent and how subtil he is. He goes on with his reasoning. Gen 3:4-5 says,"And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, Knowing good and evil."                                    That reasoning sounds very convincing that reasoning sounds lodgical. Yet if we listen to that reason and take action upon it. We will be stepping out of what God told you not to do. Out from his authority. You see that reasoning works on our flesh man, anger, frustration, jealously, wanting attention, wanting to get even with someone. The things that Jesus Christ crucified on the cross for us.          God put within us, in our heart the right thing to do. In our mind we make the decision but the heart leads the way. We are to obey the heart that God gave us. The answers are there. Thats also being a servant of God. God leads through heart issues, with holy spirit prompting. But reasoning out of what we know is right will take us out from under the authority of God. What happened to Adam and Eve after they had eaten the fruit. Gen.3:23-24 says, "Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man;.... " The great deception is the power of reasoning . Satan still uses this today as he did back then and we are still fallen for it. Is this the religon that will sweep world wide? To be as God.  Yet thinking we are still serving God. Lets abide in God's authority and not to reason our way out of it. God wants the best for us. He is our provider in all things in life. Let Jesus Christ do its great working in us.
